How do you Clean windows?
Up until January 2019 we used the traditional method. Sadly we were involved in a near fatal fall so we upgraded to a top of the range Gardiner Pole system. This method uses de-ionised water to clean your windows and allows the operator to stand safely on ground level while doing so. After cleaning, glass may take a few hours to dry after the job is done. However once dried your windows will be cleaned to a high standard. Our current Pole can reach windows up to 45 feet!
We still do Traditional Window cleaning but only on low risk work like bungalows or internal commercial work.
Do you work in the rain?
We work in all weather conditions including rain (Rain is very good for window cleaning)
What about payment?
Payments are accepted by cash, Bank transfer or card reader.
For new customers the very first clean we do must be paid either in advance or on the day of the first clean. Afterwards Payment period is 28 days after last clean. Frequent late payments may result in being asked to pay in advance.
Any payment made in advance is 10% off rounded to the nearest 50p. Annual payers receive 20% off.
How frequent are your cleans?
We have 2 Cycles. 4 or 8 weekly. It’s down to personal preference which one you decide is right for you.
Will my windows be sparkling after the first clean?
For best cleaning results it may take up to 3 cleans. For example soap residue from traditional window cleaning can get trapped within the black window seals and initially cause light spotting on the glass. This will discontinue after a few cleans on the de-ionized water system.
How much is it per clean?
It is very hard to give a price without seeing the building. Prices are constructed per window so Quotes vary on factors such as glass grade, difficulty and size. Unless you have had your windows cleaned within the last 4 months the 1st clean is always double the cost of a 4 weekly maintenance clean, due to the excess dirt deposit on the glass. These cleans always take 2-3 times as long as a regular clean.
Do you have a minimum charge?
Yes.
No matter how few windows our minimum charge for domestic cleaning is £7.20. Our minimum charge for commercial cleaning is £14.40 and £72 for conservatory roof cleans of any size.
I’d like the window’s cleaned but just this once not regular.
Unfortunately, this isn’t something we offer, it’s a 4 or 8 weekly service.
I used to have your service regularly, however I had to cancel due to personal reason’s, I’d now like to restart the service.
Unfortunately we are at customer capacity. We get at a rough estimate over 100 requests from ex-customers and potential customers to be placed on the round each month. We do not have capacity to accommodate both Ex-customers and new potential customers on to the round, therefore for now We have decided to prioritise new customers that haven’t had the opportunity to have lovely clean window’s so everybody get’s a chance. We hope to update this soon and we should be able to welcome you back on to the round in the not too distant future.
What days do you work?
Monday - Saturday. Sunday’s and bank holidays are off.
